The one thing I love about modeling is that I constantly get to dress up and become characters I am not. Much like reading a book, living a life for just a moment that is not your own. It is exciting, liberating, eye opening. It is an adventure into the unknown, where you are sure to come out a changed person.

In this shoot, I was honored to become a Mermaid for a day. Despite technical difficulties, the many incredibly talented people who I am blessed with in my life helped to create some really spectacular images to capture the day!

Siren of the sea!

“The difference between my darkness and your darkness is that I can look at my own badness in the face and accept its existence while you are busy covering your mirror with a white linen sheet. The difference between my sins and your sins is that when I sin I know I’m sinning while you have actually fallen prey to your own fabricated illusions. I am a siren, a mermaid; I know that I am beautiful while basking on the ocean’s waves and I know that I can eat flesh and bones at the bottom of the sea. You are a white witch, a wizard; your spells are manipulations and your cauldron from hell yet you wrap yourself in white and wear a silver wig.” ― C. JoyBell C.

Monster Bash!

“Being beautiful is boring.”

I had the pleasure of being made into a terrifying Monster during a local special effects class. This was an eight hour process.

A lot of respect to the regular monster-ees who sit in chairs on set on a daily basis for movies to become the villain.

When I found out Armando moved only an hour from me I was ecstatic! One of the best, and one of my good friends. Now we will get to shoot together many, many more times! Our theme was “Mermaids first birthday”

There are a million fish in the sea, but me… I am a mermaid!

No one can stop my dreams. Even if they do not happen in your world, they just might in mine. Unseen to thee.
