Bucket List: Egypt
Home is the place that love is; the world calls us to explore her, but we will always return where we feel most loved.
Go to Egypt – check.
Climb a pyramid – check.
Be Photographed Beside the Pyramids of Giza – boom.
[Go to Egypt. It is SAFE. Schedule a 2 day private tour with ‘Let’s explore Egypt’ Company and ask for Sherif Shaban]
Bucket List for Italy
Get a self portrait in Italy… Check.
Oh… Like a really self portrait. Okay.
(Me sitting for that long became a real struggle – FYI)
And veal… And more pasta… And every cheese plate… And wine… And all the bread… And a burger (don’t ask – that was a mistake.)
And that pretty much sums up our trip in Italy!!
Bucket List: Go on a Gondola in Venice
“Travel while you’re young and able. Don’t worry about money, just make it work. Experience is far more valuable than money will every be.”
Venice was beautiful. We luckily chose a cooler time of the year, so there was none of the rumored smell.
We were only there for one day, and leaving the next morning. Since this was day 4 of our trip, and we were doing a lot of running from country to country, we were quite exhausted.
We went back to the apartment to drop our bags off around 5pm, and laid down for one second. Before we knew it, we were bolting awake at 7pm and trying to make it to our gondola ride.
We saw the bridge of sighs, and did some shopping around San Marco square.
It was a fun (and exhausting) experience. It did rain a little while we were there.
Ciao,Venezia! Ciao, Venezia! Ciao, Venezia! Ciao, Ciao, Ciao
Bucket List: Go Shopping in Milan
Do You have these moments in your life where you wonder how the hell you got somewhere?
Life is just cruising along, and then suddenly you are completing your (stolen) bucket list goals of shopping in Milan.
It’s a strange feeling. We spent 9 months planning and preparing for this two week adventure.
Milan is just the beginning of the Italy portion of the trip.
It just goes to show that hard work pays off. (Also, this is just a beginning shout out to friends and family who have helped made this happen – because it wouldn’t be possible without you)
Several more posts from this adventure coming your way!
And probably an unhealthy amount of selfies.
