Words are powerful. They are weapons. They can be used to refine or destroy.

People can attempt to use words to heal, but they do not always work that way. Time heals. Think of words as a tool that can build up and tear down.

Photog Feature: Joe Alonzo

I had the pleasure of working with Joe Alonzo. Most the time he’s capturing hot shots of fast cars… On the rare occasion a model walks in front of his lens he always does a fabulous job capturing them too!

Siren of the sea!

“The difference between my darkness and your darkness is that I can look at my own badness in the face and accept its existence while you are busy covering your mirror with a white linen sheet. The difference between my sins and your sins is that when I sin I know I’m sinning while you have actually fallen prey to your own fabricated illusions. I am a siren, a mermaid; I know that I am beautiful while basking on the ocean’s waves and I know that I can eat flesh and bones at the bottom of the sea. You are a white witch, a wizard; your spells are manipulations and your cauldron from hell yet you wrap yourself in white and wear a silver wig.” ― C. JoyBell C.

Monster Bash!

“Being beautiful is boring.”

I had the pleasure of being made into a terrifying Monster during a local special effects class. This was an eight hour process.

A lot of respect to the regular monster-ees who sit in chairs on set on a daily basis for movies to become the villain.
